Only the Right Remedy Makes the Difference
The first point to note: only the right remedy out of more than 4,000 remedies, and counting, can make a difference for you. And the “you” is transformed to the next level of life: an upgrade, a liberation, a freedom from the psychological impact life had on you, and from physical symptoms such as headaches, pain, irritable bowel, or colitis.
What Is a Constitutional Remedy?
The first part of the homeopathic consult is a quest for your constitutional remedy: a remedy unique to you only. The first consultation usually runs 1 to 2 hours, with follow-ups after. The quest is to find a deep-acting remedy that relieves you from the inside out, meaning your psychological mind is relieved first, before your physical symptoms. This is the case for most cases.
A constitutional remedy is a remedy that matches closely to you: a remedy from nature that is similar to your state. A remedy made from the energy of nature that is similar to you, as if you are playing the same role as something in nature, or experiencing a similar state of an element in nature, such as:
- A mineral substance
- A plant or a tree
- A pollen
- A hormone
- An animal, or something from the sea
- Something man-made
- Something from the cosmos

What Happens in Case Taking
Homeopathic case taking is like research into you. Just follow through, and do not be intellectual or judging toward the case taker. Speak your mind.
Hair analysis may be required to point to your polarity remedy, and this can play an important role. I may ask for this in the first appointment itself, after the consult. This provides you with a precision bull’s-eye remedy: the best remedy for you given the present status you provided.
What I am looking for in the appointment is the negative energy, or the rupture in your energy system, that has caused the health issues in you. You are familiar with the Chakra system in yoga: a rupture in this system causes your negative self. The right homeopathic remedy fortifies this system.
Imagine someone observing you all the time who can describe you to yourself. That is the information I need. Your psychology dictates the physical body. For example, if one has anxiety, that dictates the physical symptoms. In the initial and follow-up consultations, we account for:
- What is happening
- How it is happening
- How it impacts you
- What your reaction to the issue is
- What your feelings are
- A full description of those feelings, and much more
This determines your constitutional remedy. The human body is made of 5 tattvas, plus a previous-life karmic build-up, like an energy memory imprinted on your DNA. This leads to accumulation in your 5 tattvas. How you accumulated your 5 tattvas in this lifetime dictates your constitutional remedy.
Follow-Ups and the Healing Process
In follow-ups, if you have run down too much on your physical self, a chronic state over a period of years, other remedies are introduced to start the healing process. This transforms you to the next level, resets you, into a more energetic you. Chronic issues may need several appointments and could require ongoing maintenance. Do not assume you only need a constitutional remedy; yes, this is the first process in many cases. Each case is unique, as the energy system surrounding you is unique only to you.
At Patel’s Homeopathy Consultations LLC, the goal is to rectify the root cause of the health issues. You as a whole are being impacted. Treating just the stomach issue, for example, will not work in homeopathy. The remedy is for “you,” a unique you. It is a step-by-step process. I only know you from the time you spend in consultations. I will try my best to get to the source of the problem and rectify the rupture in your energy system. Whether one pill is needed for the first visit or multiple doses of a remedy, whatever it takes to get you improving is always the first necessity. As you get better, your environment and your surroundings get better: then a better human, and a better world.
You may need one appointment, several appointments, or ongoing appointments. It all depends on your case. Each case is unique. You will have to be patient and make regular follow-ups.
A repeat consult may be needed when symptoms reappear later, perhaps 6 to 18 months later. These symptoms should be of a lower intensity than what they originally started as. You belong to earth, with a physical body built of 5 tattvas. As you start interacting with the environment and accumulating again after initial recovery, the repeat consult and remedies may help relieve you again for quite some time. Virtual Visits Are Just Fine
Virtual visits on Google Meet, Zoom, or over the phone for follow-ups work well. Please do not be misled by practitioners, homeopathic or non-homeopathic, such as naturopaths or physicians practicing homeopathy, who claim an in-person physical examination is required. It is not required. If there is a rash, send pictures. If there are wounds, send a picture. What matters most is your description, as above. In homeopathy, a physical examination of the physical symptom is not required.
Case Examples: Understanding the Process
These real cases help you understand how the process works over time.
Case 1: A Very Chronic Case (Age 56)
A person with several issues: ED, heart issues, bowel issues, anger, anxiety, depression, stress, pain, and respiration issues. Here is the appointment-by-appointment progress:
- First appointment: the constitutional remedy worked to a certain extent. Anger is better, sleep is better.
- Second appointment: ED is slowly getting better.
- Third: breathing is improved but still present.
- Fourth: pain is better.
- Fifth: digestion improved, with a little more improvement needed.
- Sixth: digestion a little better, ED better.
- Seventh: more clarity.
- Eighth: no anger, no anxiety. Toxin removal worked better.
- Ninth: hemorrhoids improved, bowel issues better.
- Tenth: a new constitutional remedy worked, one dose and done.
- Eleventh: still improving further.
This person is doing much better, as if no health issues ever existed. As you see, chronic cases need a lot of work, but once improved, you are not going back to your old state for a long time. A new beginning for a renewed you.
Case 2: Six Years of Health Problems
A person with long-standing issues. Upon the first case taking of about 1.5 hours, it was found the issues originated from ingestion of a dye, and his state in no way related to his constitution (the way a person is since childhood, unique to each individual case). Here is the progress:
- First visit: he was detoxed. His suppressed anger erupted after so many years of dealing with the issue.
- He began blaming his homeopath and other practitioners for his issues. Upon consultation with a caregiver, his case progressed in a positive direction in follow-up appointments.
- The quest in follow-ups was to find his constitutional remedy. By just three visits, he was doing much better.
